1. The service

Kronkalkyl is a Google Sheets add-on provided by Niklas Bergström ("we"). By installing or using it you accept these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you accept them for that organisation.

2. Free and Pro plans

The Free plan is free of charge. Pro is a paid subscription sold by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Polar Software Inc. ("Polar"), at the prices shown on our website at the time of purchase (currently €6/month or €48/year). Polar's terms apply to the purchase, payment, taxes, invoices and refunds. Each Google account can use a 14-day free Pro trial once, without entering a card. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in Polar's customer portal (linked from your receipt e-mail) at polar.sh/kronkalkyl/portal and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal as described in Polar's terms.

3. Licence keys

A licence key is for the purchasing customer (one person). Do not publish or resell keys. We may revoke keys that are shared publicly or used abusively. The add-on re-checks keys periodically and keeps working for up to 7 days if the licence server cannot be reached.

4. Data sources and accuracy

Exchange rates come from Sveriges riksbank and, as a fallback, the European Central Bank. They are indicative rates, published on banking days, and may differ from rates applied by banks or required for tax purposes. Number checks (identity numbers, organisation numbers, bank accounts, OCR, Bankgiro, Plusgiro, IBAN) only verify format and check digits; a valid result does not prove that the number exists or belongs to a particular person or company. VAT checks reflect the response of the European Commission's VIES service at the time of the check. Holiday and bank-day rules follow Swedish law and banking practice as we understand them. You are responsible for verifying any result before relying on it for payments, bookkeeping, payroll or tax filings.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the add-on to break the law, to process personal data without a legal basis, or to overload third-party services (for example by mass-querying VIES). We may throttle or suspend use that harms the service or its data providers.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but depend on Google, Sveriges riksbank, the ECB, the European Commission and Polar. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue Pro, we will refund unused prepaid periods via Polar.

7. Warranty and liability

The add-on is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, incorrect payments or tax consequences. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including consumer protection law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts, without affecting mandatory rights of consumers in their country of residence. Consumers may also contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), arn.se.
